These are good news for Moroccans and an improvement in the strength of the Moroccan diplomacy and will greatly help in resolving the issue of the Moroccan Sahara and strengthen economic and commercial relations within the South South and a painful blow to the Algerian and South African policy

The African Union or the Organization of African Unity are virtual names without the means to realize the hopes of their people. How can an organization without lucid leaders or incisive logic have acceptable power in the management of crises in the continent. Where is the organization in Somalia, Nigeria, Liberia and the lakes so as to enter or join it
Because of Western influence on most African countries, poverty affecting their people and the prevailing backwardness these countries cannot take advantage properly of their wealth or even the possibility of controlling it. By God how can a continent that God made rich with natural resources have the poorest people on earth. This confirms that the heads of the African continent or the African Union do not trust each other as much as they trust the West because they were brought up in the arms of the West in a Western way and only think what the west dictates to them. Thus, the AU will remain weak a body without spirit as long as these people do not become fully loyal to their countries instead of thinking of becoming rich at the expense of their people. Evidence has been discovered through the countries that experienced the Arab spring. The latter is in fact a fall for the peoples of these countries and a spring for those who helped spread discord and war, by virtue of being able to turn the safety and security of these countries in their favor via theft and spread of sedition among the people of these countries. See what is happening in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and Syria and then God knows whose turn will it be to Be the next.We ask God for safety, O Imaginary African Union.
Could have a negative impact on the union. They have to accept the recognized borders and enter negotiations before a regional war breaks out

The African Union was born dead. When did the African countries have a democracy? The most notorious dictatorships are still multiplying in Africa until it became a measure of the unlimited decline of human rights as well as underdevelopment and poverty though rare otherwise. They are sending messages to humanitarian organizations for those who wish to contribute to the fight against poverty and disease. The so-called African unity is only a time and place for presidents to meet and exchange bribes and develop their assets at the expense of naked people living with jungle animals. By joining this organization, neither technology nor education and advancement of the standard of living will come. Joining will only offer involvement in regional and local conflicts that strain the budget of the States
I like it
What’s new with the Arabs?

The African Union will not gain anything from Morocco’s return, which will rather create problems and trigger division among the Union’s countries. In fact, Morocco will try to attract some countries and incite them against South Africa, Algeria and Nigeria who strongly support the Western Sahara disapproved by the Moroccan monarchy. The African Union exists with or without Morocco, and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is a founding member of the Union. It is not possible to kick the SADR out in virtue of international norms and conventions, and according to the Charter of the Union itself. Morocco can join the Union if it wants to, but not at the expense of a founding member with full rights.
Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy. As a Moroccan, I believe that in light of the current conflicts, Morocco should seriously consider building a defensive wall to separate it from Algeria and Mauritania, and work as if the Kingdom was an island in the middle of the sea.
I never felt that African countries were united through their decisions and positions, so how will anything change after Morocco’s accession? I am really curious to find out, and it’s good to be optimistic.
With its population size, and political weight, Morocco will contribute to the development of the African Union, and will represent an important addition. We support Morocco’s membership in Mauritania. Bab al-Sheikh Hamdi, “Be Transparent” organization.
We have to face Algeria, and prevent it from further tarnishing our image before the world from now on.
I don’t think so, unless it is in agreement with Algeria, in which case they can both constitute a strong power.
In my opinion, Morocco’s accession to the African Union or absence thereof is not more important than its compatibility with its neighbors and other Arab countries. The stronger the ties and coordination between these countries, the greater Morocco’s strength, position and effectiveness among African countries; I hope that this will be the main goal. Thank you, and I am sorry if I burdened you.

Before commenting on this subject ,I would like to appologise to the readers for using English language ,for the arabic alphabets I have fixed on my pc have been almost faded, therefore i can no use them for writing. The subject discussion that arises tody is whether Morocco is ready to be back to the African Union or not? and if so, what will be the strategic plans to re-activate the membership within the African Union Organisation? What are the priorities? what are the most urgent matters to deal with?? knowing precedently that Morocco has a very good strategic postion in Africa .However, there have been
alot of changes since 1984 till now .I personally think that this issue is rooted deeply back in history,in the past ages ,when Morocco had much social and economic relations with the African states rather than any other place in the world . The anxiety about the saharian issue has made Morocco away from the African Union organisation ,but nobody can deny that it was avery good and appropriate attitude, as long as theorganisation was ignoring Moroccan demandes about the Membeship of the separatists within the African union organisation the ex-king of his majesty Hassan the second may the almighty GOD/ALLAH blisse his soul quited the Re-union of the organisation and confirmed to all its members that “Morocco has only one representative not two representatives within the organisation” since then all actvities that concerned Morocco have been definitely desactivated. Now that a lot of indications have been changing and Moroccan kingdom offers the option of the Autonomic governing to the sahraoui community.having all these conditions the re- activation of the Moroccan membership within the African union organisation ,certanily will be effective and positive

Morocco did the right thing by leaving this organisation. To achieve unity, Africans should read history in order to have the right judgment. Africans are new to history, because their countries are the product of colonization that divided to rule. African politicians, especially sub-Saharan ones, were brought up on an imported ideology that is completely alien to their environment, which does not know the meaning of history. The African Union is a failure, and will not succeed because the values of civilization do not mean imitating the European clothing style and conferences; civilization is a feeling that stems from the depths of the self and from civilization roots, and these things are lacking in sub-Saharan Africans.
Praise be to Allah, we praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves, and from our bad deeds. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray none can guide them aright. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, and I bear witness that Muhammad is his servant and Messenger. Peace and prayers be upon the Messenger, his family, and companions. If Africa wants to overcome poverty, it should manufacture tractors, harvesting machines, and fishing vessels instead of cars, which are useless in collecting pulses and cereals including wheat, barley and corn; and cattle including cows, sheep and goats, etc……….. Farmers must study the topography of each region. They should also make aquariums to breed fish after hatching eggs, feeding the fish, breeding them, and then setting them free in a suitable region. There is still much to be said. Peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings. Signature: Youssef.
A Free Moroccan, I say to the one who commented that the AU does not benefit from the return of Morocco, that in fact Morocco does not need this union. And God bless the one who suggested that Morocco build a protective wall with Algeria and Mauritania in order to avoid their nastiness and the nastiness of Africa altogether.

Morocco wants unity among Arab countries and Algeria want to split them (separation of Sudan / Egypt and the Sinai / Morocco and the Sahara) and this shows the jealousy and envy of Algerians of Moroccans and of many Arab countries. The main reason is that Moroccans are without oil and thankfully they live better than Algerians and unemployment is decreasing by the month and not by the year. FYI if it weren’t for Morocco, Algeria would still be under French colonialism (and from the evil of the envious when he envies) God Almighty has spoken the truth
With or without Morocco, it is the same
Morocco is not welcome in the Organization of African Union, unless it complies with international regulations and grants Sahrawi people the right to self-determination

I would ask the question the other way round. Morocco has no intention or interest in reintegrating the AU. In fact what is the purpose of the AU? Nothing, except applauding the intervention of France, like in Mali. Morocco has close relations with the entire continent (do not forget that Morocco was a founding member of the OAU in 1963). As for the Sahara, Morocco will never give up a single grain of its territory’s sand. The axis of Algiers, Pretoria, Abuja will pour billions of petrodollars, but in vain. As Che Guevara said more than 50 years ago, “Africa is off to a bad start with such leaders”. This sentence is still valid today, unfortunately.
