Jemal Ould Mohamed Oumar is a Mauritanian journalist and the producer and anchor of television news programmes. Mohamed Oumar also writes for daily newspaper Sahara Media, El-Wahdawi and other newspapers. He is a member of the Mauritanian Literary and Writer’s Union, and is active in other literary groups. Mohamed Oumar is also a published writer of short stories.
