At first glance, it seems that we are talking about two different subjects: baccalaureate exams, and shaping the future of the labor force. So what is the relationship between these exams and shaping the future of the labor force? And what possible role can baccalaureate exams play in developing and shaping the future of the labor force?
Examinations at any level, and in any country, are a test of the abilities of the student or anyone tested, in order to check their level of mastery of information and lessons they learned from their professors, and their own abilities in collecting and using information. For this reason, exams must be the necessary pedagogical means to measure the expertise and abilities of each individual subject to this exercise. Baccalaureate examinations, in all countries of the world, are the main gateway for the development of knowledge and for the transition from a school period to a higher one.

While education in stages before the baccalaureate is based on the consolidation of basic knowledge of the pupil, the baccalaureate examination comes to separate this stage and the college period, during which students will experience a different method for collecting knowledge and information, and get to identify new approaches and methods for the collection of knowledge and openness to scientific and communication experiments that are quite different from what they experienced in the previous phase.

Therefore, the picture is now getting clearer bit by bit, in terms of the possible role of the baccalaureate exams in shaping the future of the labourr force. This is because the university period offered by succeeding in the baccalaureate exams, offers many new opportunities to students to specialize and begin to choose the appropriate path for them to become working energies and active forces that will actively contribute with their knowledge and experience in strengthening and building their future, which are the most important components of innovative and active forces in society, and we can’t therefore, ignore their crucial role in developing this community.

The role played by the baccalaureate exams in shaping the future of the labour force appears in what can be offered by these examinations, after succeeding in them, by collecting anything that might serve and develop the community, and belong to an active and effective social class that has a strong impact on building, developing and making society prosper and raise.

It’s difficult for a society that does not have an active, effective, trained and experienced labor force to enter the sphere of competition with other societies that know how to work hard on training their workforces, and how to build the future of these forces, and place them on solid foundations that ensure that; and not only the future of these forces, but also the future of subsequent generations and the future of the society as a whole.

However, all this depends on the credibility and integrity of the exams, and avoiding fraud and cheating. Whatever is built on falsehood is rather false too, as the well known rule goes. Therefore, it is imperative that these exams take place in an appropriate pedagogic atmosphere characterized by integrity and concern about the selection of samples of students that are able to serve the community and boost the image of its working class, to overcome those stereotypes that serve only to reproduce the same category of graduates.

For the current communities that face innumerable challenges and various constraints, it is imperative to work on training effective and creative energies that will have an impact on the future of the community to meet those challenges and overcome all the constraints. This way, the baccalaureate exams will be the main gate to achieve all possible expectations regarding the future of the labor force.

The baccalaureate exams cannot be seen as a test and exercise to sort out the outstanding and successful from the others, but they should be seen as a means to open broad horizons and unique opportunities to a selected group of students that prepare them to assume responsibilities that will contribute in strengthening the workforce with experienced and highly knowledgeable elements.

The future, then, is for the labor force that has a high, focused, and purposeful training.
